Position Title: Behavioral Health Technician 
 
A first in class residential treatment center focused on mending the mind, body and spirit of those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders related to substance use. Each client will attend daily counseling, both individually or in a group setting to help aid in the lifestyle changes needed to achieve long term abstinence and recovery from addictive behaviors. 
 
Additional emphasis is placed on Evolve's family component to aid in the support and long-term success of each individual. We believe a client&rsquo;s recovery requires an all-out assault on addiction from various angles; we also strongly encourage the importance of discovering how to have healthy fun again, discover new activities to enjoy and help clients understand the value of nutrition and physical fitness in achieving not only recovery from addiction but their life's goals and ambitions. 
 
Behavioral Health Technician Job description: 
The Behavioral Health Technician is an integral member of the team with extensive patient contact. They provide communication between the patients, medical staff and clinicians. Excellent patient care includes preparation of charts for case management, assisting the medical staff with vitals and ensuring patient needs are met in a timely and proficient manner. 
 
Behavioral Health Technician Duties/Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Completion of intakes on new patient admissions, orientation procedures and schedules</li><li>Document attendance for all groups</li><li>Recording inventory log of patient&rsquo;s personal belongings and valuables</li><li>Interact appropriately with patients and staff, using deescalating skills when necessary</li></ul> 
Behavioral Health Technician Requirements: 
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Knowledge of addiction and mental health a plus</li><li>Experience with Microsoft office products</li></ul> 
Behavioral Health Technician Schedule: 
<ul><li>12-hour shifts, 3 days a week</li><li>Night shift; 7:00PM - 7:30AM</li><li>Must be open to one weekend shift per week OR rotating weekends</li></ul> 
Behavioral Health Technician Compensation: 
<ul><li>Hourly rate competitive with experience and location</li><li>Night and weekend differential when applicable</li></ul>
