About Evolve

</li></ul>The position: Detailing Project Manager
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Detailing Project Manager &ndash; Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul><li>Project-Based Management: Oversee detailing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
</li><li>Lead Modeler Responsibilities: Serve as the lead modeler by guiding modeling workflows, establishing modeling standards, and ensuring consistency across the project team.
</li><li>Meeting Detailing Milestones: Plan, track, and deliver all detailing milestones on time, proactively resolving issues that could impact schedule performance.
</li><li>Documentation &amp; Revision Control: Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation; manage revisions, version control, and document distribution.
</li><li>Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination with engineering, fabrication, project management, and field teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
</li><li>Model QA/QC: Perform and oversee quality assurance and quality control reviews of project models to verify accuracy, compliance with standards, and constructability.
</li><li>Model Status Updating: Regularly update model progress, detailing status, and tracking logs to provide clear visibility to stakeholders.
</li><li>Scope Management &amp; Change Control: Define and manage project scope; identify, evaluate, and document scope changes to prevent overruns and maintain project alignment.
</li><li>Technical Collaboration &amp; Problem Solving: Work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve design conflicts, modeling challenges, and constructability issues.
</li><li>Training &amp; Mentorship: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to modelers and junior team members to support skill development and ensure high-quality output.
</li></ul>Knowledge &amp; Experience
<div><ul><li>Ability to read and Interpret Architectural and Structural Building Plans
</li></ul><ul><li>Distinguish between basic construction trade drawings
</li></ul><ul><li>Understand Basic Plan/Section Nomenclature
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate Gathering of Information between various trade drawings
</li></ul><ul><li>Interpret and assess relevant information in various sections and plans with regard to structural and miscellaneous steel.
</li></ul><ul><li>Locate and assess conflicts between trade drawings.
</li></ul><ul><li>Understand and Use drawing scale
</li></ul><ul><li>Building models using Tekla Structures
</li></ul><ul><li>7 years minimum experience in structural steel detailing
</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of steel fabrication, and/or steel erection, and miscellaneous steel is strongly preferred
</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge and ability to navigate Tekla, AutoCAD and SDS is preferred
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to understand the design, build, and fabrication process
</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of AISC, AWS, ASME, and other building codes is required
