   Purpose of the Position:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Responsible for catalyst plant procurement of direct items and indirect items within overall framework of global Procurement policies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Responsible for implementing measures under India procurement strategy.
  </li>
 </ul>

   Key Responsibilities :
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Overall procurement responsible for procurement at Catalyst plant.
  </li>
  <li>
   Responsible for managing 2 operational procurement colleagues at site, one for direct procurement and another one is for indirect procurement.
  </li>
  <li>
   Procure and approve raw material &amp; packing material required for production as per approved re-order level or production department annual plan or requisition.
  </li>
  <li>
   Procure and approve material required for maintenance, CAPEX &amp; OPEX Projects, QC, R&amp;D, EHS &amp; admin department per their requirement.
  </li>
  <li>
   Responsible for all works/labor contracts and its implementation at plant level. Direct responsible for waste handling and its proper disposal for all items produced within plant.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monthly MIS preparation for area of responsibility and its presentation to concern teams
  </li>
  <li>
   Endeavour continuously to optimize costs where ever possible via negotiations, discounts, new sourcing, incentive etc. within policy framework
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure no stock- out under area of responsibility.
  </li>
  <li>
   Try and ensure end user department requirements are met in terms of requisite quantity and quality.
  </li>
  <li>
   Responsible for complete Vendor Management process during Initiation, identification, selection, scale up and trial phase.
  </li>
  <li>
   Evaluate current / existing vendors periodically and monitor their performance.
  </li>
  <li>
   Active involvement in giving inputs to colleagues in other entities on common areas of work
  </li>
  <li>
   Work on short term procurement specific projects along with Head procurement India
  </li>
  <li>
   Support Global business, category buying for plant under global buyer whenever required &amp; help to enable business decisions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Responsible for onsite supplier audits and together for sustainability initiatives for area of work
  </li>
 </ul>

  <strong>
   Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Any Engineering graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical industry. A postgraduate degree is a plus.
  </li>
 </ul>
 <p>

 </p>
 <p>
  <strong>
   Additional Skills and Abilities Required:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Experience working with SAP is a must.
  </li>
  <li>
   Exposure to direct and indirect procurement is a plus.
  </li>
  <li>
   Technical proficiency and strong communication skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Fluency in English.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient in MS Office.
  </li>
  <li>
   People management experience is a plus.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
  </li>
 </ul>

   Technical Knowledge: (Added Advantage)
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Technical knowledge of the manufacturing processes in chemical companies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working with various types of contracts.
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of the chemical supplier market for specialty chemicals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience handling exports/imports of chemicals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in working with chemical products/plants is a plus
  </li>

RESPONSIBILITIES</div><div></div><div>
The position is limited to one year.</div><ul><li>
Provide accurate and timely information to customers before, during and after a transaction to maintain and improve customer relationships.</li><li>
Operate and Coordinate Import, Export &amp; Transit transactions with relation to customs regulations</li><li>
Support team in Back-Up, Logistics and Reporting Issues</li><li>
Operate Order Management/Supply Chain and Sample Management</li><li>
Working align with the BL and internal (local) business rules</li><li>
Work on the customer order process to ensure orders are planned and delivered accurately and efficiently. This includes import, export and transit processes, documentations, sampling and trials and control of customer terms and conditions.</li><li>
Respond to customer enquiries and forward to other departments as required. Be proactive in analysing customer activities to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions to improve customer service and supply chain.</li><li>
Collaborate with head office, internal and external stakeholders and customers on order management, sales, purchasing, customer accounts inquiries and logistics, as required.</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all other relevant sales and customer related activities.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and ensure accurate data is entered to SAP.</li><li>
Prepare reports for the Business Managers, Head Customer Service / Supply Chain and Head Office.</li><li>
Operate Import/Export/Courier deliveries of samples and complete IVT entries</li><li>
Provide back up support to absent employees as directed.</li></ul><div></div><div>
REQUIREMENTS</div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in business administration, customer relations, supply chain management or similar</li><li>
1-3 years relevant work experience</li><li>
Advanced written and spoken English skills</li><li>
Resident on Anatolian side of Istanbul</li><li>
