POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nurse is responsible for providing care to clients to include but not limited to, administering medication, taking vitals, assessing medical needs.
Essential Duties:<ul><li>
Assisting with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments</li><li>
Administering medications and treatments as per provider protocol</li><li>
Assisting with client admissions and discharges</li><li>
Recording client observations and reporting to the medical team as needed</li><li>
Compassionately interacting with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment</li><li>
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment</li><li>
Attending staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer</li><li>
Communicating with the pharmacy as needed</li><li>
Completing client nursing admissions not limited to: intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, GeneSight swabbing</li><li>
Follows all policies and procedures with regard to client information protection, including alcohol-drug client confidentiality and HIPAA</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Current unrestricted licensure in GA or TN (as required by facility) as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.</li><li>
Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written</li><li>
Ability to work with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources</li><li>
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.</li><li>
Experience working with people in recovery and/or in mental health treatment a plus</li></ul>
