The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, lead a development team, and ensure the timely execution of high-quality, customized WordPress solutions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage WordPress development projects from planning to deployment.</li><li>Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities based on client requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with designers, content creators, and account managers to ensure seamless project execution.</li><li>Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers.</li><li>Manage client communication, gather requirements, and provide regular updates.</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.</li><li>Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and development practices.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li><li>5+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience (custom themes &amp; plugins).</li><li>Strong background in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST APIs.</li><li>Proven experience in leading projects, managing timelines, and handling clients.</li><li>Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows.</li><li>Knowledge of website optimization (SEO, caching, performance tuning).</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience working in an agency environment.</li><li>Knowledge of page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) while being able to develop fully custom solutions.</li><li>Familiarity with WooCommerce and third-party integrations.</li><li>Understanding of modern frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js) is a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
