About the Opportunity:</b></p><p>
The Senior Business Analyst &amp; Power BI Developer will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights through executive-level dashboards and analytics.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Location note:</b> This is an a hybrid role that requires on-site work out of our Carlsbad office and candidates must live within commuting distance.</p>
Responsibilities:

</i></p><ul><li>Rapidly learn and understand internal business processes to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
</li><li>Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards tailored for executive audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance, and impact.
</li><li>Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
</li><li>Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment with strategic goals.</li><li>
Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and ETL processes to support robust reporting.
</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.</li><li>
Maintain and optimize existing Power BI reports and datasets for performance and usability.</li><li>
Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis and Power BI development within the Life Sciences, Health Care, or Medical Device sectors.</li><li>
Proven ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to completion.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in developing executive-level dashboards and visualizations.</li><li>
Functional knowledge of Sales or Finance processes is highly desirable.</li><li>
Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.</li><li>
Experience with SQL, Excel, and other data tools is a plus.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.</li></ul><div>
Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000</div></div>
