Position Overview:</b></p>
<p>
The Python Developer plays a critical role in the development, customisation, and maintenance of ERPNext to support business operations. This position requires advanced Python programming skills, ERPNext module customisation experience, and the ability to integrate ERPNext with other business systems. The developer will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that meet evolving business needs.</p>

Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p><b>
1. ERPNext Development and Customisation</b></p>

<ul><li>Develop, customise, and maintain ERPNext modules, doctypes, reports, and scripts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Configure ERPNext workflows and implement business process automations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Translate business requirements into functional ERPNext features.</li></ul>

<p><b>2. Python Programming</b></p>
<div>
<ul><li>Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code to support backend development.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Enhance application performance and scalability through optimized backend logic.</li></ul>
</div>
<p><b>3. Integration and API Development</b></p>

<ul><li>Integrate ERPNext with third-party applications and internal systems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.</li></ul>

<p><b>4. Database Management</b></p>

<ul><li>Administer and optimize MySQL/MariaDB databases.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Conduct schema modifications, performance tuning, and data migration.</li></ul>

<p><b>5. Testing and Quality Assurance</b></p>

<ul><li>Perform unit testing and participate in debugging activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software.</li></ul>

<p><b>6. Documentation</b></p>

<ul><li>Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for custom scripts, configurations, and integrations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain up-to-date documentation to support ongoing system enhancements and troubleshooting.</li></ul>

<p><b>7. Support and Maintenance</b></p>

<ul><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERPNext-related issues.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Regularly perform system updates, patches, and performance improvements.</li></ul>

<p><b>8. Collaboration</b></p>

<ul><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Partner with fellow developers and stakeholders to design and deploy new features.</li></ul>

<p><b>9. Code Review and Version Control</b></p>

<ul><li>Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.</li></ul>

<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>

Education &amp; Experience</b></p>

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</li></ul>
<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven experience in ERPNext development and business process customisation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with workflow automation, API integrations, and AI-based process design.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge in AI Agents and Generative AI (LLMs).</li></ul>

<p><b>Technical Skills</b></p>

<ul><li>Strong Python programming capabilities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party application integrations.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Solid understanding of MySQL/MariaDB database architecture and management.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with version control systems (Git/SVN).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Comfortable deploying and maintaining applications in a Linux environment.</li></ul>
