Night AuditorJob SummaryThe Night Auditor is responsible for overnight front desk operations and the daily audit process. This includes checking guests in and out, balancing the day's revenue, reconciling credit card batches, closing the books in the property management system, and preparing the morning report package for management. The Night Auditor also serves as the on-property point of contact during overnight hours and is responsible for guest service, security awareness, and emergency response.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and register late-arriving guests, process check-outs, and answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.</li><li>Run the nightly audit, including posting room and tax, reconciling all revenue centers, and closing the day in the property management system.</li><li>Balance cash, credit card, and direct billing transactions; identify and resolve discrepancies; prepare the bank deposit.</li><li>Generate and distribute end-of-day reports for management review.</li><li>Respond to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies, and make appropriate service recovery decisions within established guidelines.</li><li>Walk the property at scheduled intervals to monitor for safety, security, and maintenance issues, and document any concerns.</li><li>Communicate any outstanding guest issues or property concerns to the morning team and management.</li><li>Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate shift documentation, including incident logs and pass-on notes.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1 to 2 years of front desk, customer service, or bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Comfortable working independently for the duration of the shift.</li><li>Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn a hotel property management system.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.</li><li>Reliable transportation for overnight hours.</li></ul>Benefits and Perks<ul><li>Medical, dental, life, PTO, and 401(k) with company match for full-time associates</li><li>Travel discount program</li><li>Opportunity to grow; we promote from within</li></ul>Excel Hotel Group is a fully integrated property ownership, management, and development company enjoying exciting growth.  Job Summary
 
 
 
 The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel quickly, efficiently and courteously using the property management system; processing all payments according to established hotel policies and requirements; and providing information and customer service to guests and visitors of the hotel.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Welcomes guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Registers guests, issues room keys, provides information on hotel services and room location, and answers phones in prompt and courteous manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Up-sells rooms whenever possible to maximize hotel revenue.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accurately processes all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures, including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assign bank.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issues, controls and releases guest safe-deposit boxes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicates any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the hotel bar area in accordance with brand standards, local laws, and responsible alcohol service guidelines (as scheduled).
 </li>
 <li>
 May perform Night Audit duties, including end-of-day financial reporting, system rollovers, and overnight guest service support, as needed.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1-2 years customer service experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to stand for 8 hours
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system.
