This role is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting. The intern will support our team with bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, and ad-hoc tasks.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with bookkeeping tasks including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining ledgers.</li><li>Support preparation of financial statements and reports.</li><li>Assist in the tax preparation process, including organizing client files and entering data.</li><li>Conduct account reconciliations and assist with adjusting journal entries.</li><li>Organize and maintain client documentation and electronic files.</li><li>Perform basic administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and data entry.</li><li>Research accounting or tax-related topics as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on special projects or client deliverables.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.</li><li>Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar preferred).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and a positive, professional attitude.</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, Contract, InternshipPay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 &ndash; 16 per weekWork Location: Remote
