<div>JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Distribution Manager is responsible for managing the distribution of new shipments out of the warehouse. This includes management of the pick and put lines, quick ships and DC shipments.
ORGANIZATIONAL AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and Director of Warehouse Operations.

Leadership:<ul><li>
Responsible for managing all team members assigned to the distribution areas of the warehouse</li><li>
Resolves conflicts between team members through coaching and discipline as necessary.</li><li>
Establishes daily responsibilities of team members and ensure daily distribution goals are met</li><li>
Responsible for assigning labor resources to ensure that all distribution areas have sufficient coverage</li><li>
Collaborates and works closely with all warehouse management team members to determine overall staffing needs and allocations and identifies needs for direct hire and/or temporary staffing needs</li><li>
Establishes and maintains a motivational approach to leadership, ensuring that all behaviors serve as a model for others to follow</li></ul>
Distribution:<ul><li>
Responsible for ensuring metrics for all core processes are established and process and/or system is in place for tracking results</li><li>
Prepares sales orders for fulfillment and ensures that required inventory is available</li><li>
Coordinates shipping needs with shipping vendors in conjunction with Director of Warehouse Operations</li><li>
Manages warehouse supply needs and associated costs and ensure adequate supplies are available</li><li>
Responsible for ensuring that the warehouse and production areas are clean and organized</li></ul>

JOB REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
2-3 year of warehouse supervisory or management experience preferred.</li><li>
Ability to lead and direct others</li><li>
Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively.</li><li>
Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area.</li><li>
Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly.</li></ul>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:<ul><li>
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.</li><li>
Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly.</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with coworkers, managers, and customers.</li><li>

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking and standing functions. Frequent repetitive motion activities are required. Must be able to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted in a temperature controlled environment with occasional exposure to hot and cold temperature.
INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. This position requires the ability to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities on a daily basis while being responsive to needs as they arise.</div>
