Primary Purpose:

This position will be part of a focused group contributing to the company&rsquo;s Enterprise-wide technology evolution. You will be part of the team building the foundation for the continuous development and improving internal and external customers experiences. This is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to lead and mentor your peers in various project efforts and to contribute to further professional and personal development. You will be responsible for various aspects of designing, developing, deploying and maintaining applications. 
This role is highly focused on various customer technology platforms, with a concentration on Oracle&rsquo;s Customer Care and Billing Application. You will perform and/or manage activities related to planning, gathering common business requirements, designing, building, and maintaining high quality solutions, products and processes. Additional work around coding practices and methodologies, technical architecture and hardware systems sizing, and analysis will be required to support the team. 
As you&rsquo;ll be joining a fast-moving team we know there will be days when we as a team may be required to work extended hours and/or shift work to support our effort and meet assignment deliverables, but we assure you, we make time to celebrate our victories, incorporate fun days to volunteer, team building, etc. along with additional corporate perks! Additionally, as a nimble team, we find it important to be receptive to take on new tasks outside of our routine work to grow and learn new skills and expect you to be able to accept these tasks with eyes wide open. 
Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties:
<ul><li>Engage with business partners to gather information, analyze requirements and deliver practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions that satisfy business needs. Writes product specifications and design documentation for assigned system components. (25%)</li><li>
Lead engineering team and provide oversight for less experienced engineers; Stay on top of latest technologies and trends. Using error reports, establish priorities and assign out bugs to relevant team members for resolution. Support development of version control principles (e.g. Git and working within an agile environment), CI/CD pipeline and various automations. (25%)</li><li>
Leverage Oracle Utilities Application Framework SDK to design, develop, extend and support Oracle CC&amp;B Application extensions and batch programs. Design and build CC&amp;B modules and customizations using JAVA and groovy scripting. Use CCB configurations, where appropriate, to implement business requirements. Design, develop and/or review complex code to ensure solutions meet the requirements of functional and technical specifications. Develop and/or review project technical architecture design and development. Solutions may include but are not limited to the development of various types of applications, web, mobile app, full stack or integrations hosted on premises data centers or in the cloud. Develop automated Unit tests and/or automated UI tests. (20%)</li><li>
Ensure all risks and issues that affect the project are captured following set process and are actioned appropriately. (10%)</li><li>
Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards and policies. Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; lead peer code reviews. (10%)</li><li>
Provide IT teams and business personnel with technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology trends, market availability of products, risks and benefits of technology to meet business/IT needs. Participate in IT architecture review and standards setting. Assist in the development of white papers, conducting presentations as needed to explain why a technology is being recommended by IT. (10%)</li></ul>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree (ex: Computer Science or related discipline) and 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in maintaining Customer Information System (CIS) applications within Java environment or minimum 9-12 years of relevant combination of education and work experience</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium teams in delivering software solutions</li><li>
Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.</li><li>
Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).</li><li>
Strong knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows, Solaris or Linux; or strong knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, Amazon or Google Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms</li><li>
Programming Languages/Platforms: Mastered 2-3 languages/frameworks. Understand functional programming and know when and how to apply functional concepts in any programming language. Possess a deep understanding of how the platform functions including code execution. Comfortable with their package manager tools.</li><li>
Database: Well-versed in using database views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined data types (UDT). In order to speed up the query process, apply knowledge of index syntax to create custom clustered and non-clustered indexes.</li><li>
APIs: Deep and solid knowledge of the main APIs used. Capable of designing End to end new APIs.</li><li>
Troubleshooting: Can handle almost all analysis and support activities independently.</li><li>
Has full-stack experience</li><li>
Collaborates independently with team members, including designers, business analysts, and architects. Define and implement best practices</li><li>
Subject Matter Expertise in a particular critical area</li><li>
Capable of turning requirements into solutions, providing estimates on tasks, and assisting in planning/decomposing larger sections of work.</li><li>
Expert Agile development practices and good experience at using tools like ADO, JIRA, GitHub Cloud Technologies, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Service mesh, Istio), Cloud-Native, Streaming Data tools like Kafka, Snowflake, AI/ML Data Science</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Strong knowledge of JAVA and use in collaborative environment leveraging version control and coding standards.</li><li>
Experience with Oracle databases, SQL Developer, File Transfer jobs.</li><li>
Experience working within an Agile methodology.</li><li>
Appropriate technical skills to analyze data and evaluate solutions. Ability to design build and test applications.</li><li>

Responsible for developing internal communications and though leadership plans and strategies as they apply on a corporate, business unit and BSC-wide level. Represents Director or Manager, Employee Communications in their absence. Supports corporate, executive and BSC communications, and overall internal communication as it applies to external audiences. Translates complex enterprise and operating company priorities into concise, complexing executive messages that inspire action and reinforce accountability. Supports and reinforces Exelon's corporate communications messages and provides communications guidance and support to all business units. Partners closely with senior executives and operating company leadership to shape and articulate clear leadership narratives aligned to Exelon's purpose, strategic priorities, and business strategy. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, Employee Communications and VP, Corporate Communications, in support of other internal communications and executive though leadership priorities. This position reports to the Director, Employee Communications.
Primary Duties:
