Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be currently in the woodworking and carpentry trade, with the ability to fabricate and install high-quality cabinets and fixtures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in reading blueprints, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assemble and install cabinets according to specifications and blueprints</li><li>Fabricate and shape cabinet components using various tools and machinery</li><li>Hang doors and ensure proper alignment and functionality</li><li>Install hardware, such as hinges, slides, handles, and knobs</li><li>Measure, cut, and install</li><li>Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, to ensure proper installation of cabinets in remodeling projects</li><li>Conduct quality checks to ensure cabinets meet industry standards</li><li>Assist in the restoration of antique or damaged cabinets</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Carpenter in the restoration industry</li><li>Proficient in cabinet assembly, installation, and fabrication techniques</li><li>Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li><li>Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts</li><li>Familiarity with tools and machinery used in cabinet making, such as saws, drills, routers, etc.</li><li>Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation or fabrication process</li></ul>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
