 Job Description
 
 
 
 
 Administration
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Manage and operate security systems (Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarm, access control, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate timely completion (within 90 days) of outstanding Security Corrective Actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Preventive Actions with appropriate parties and communicate issues to the District Manager and Regional Security Manager/Director.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be a part of the District Business Review meeting to discuss security-related issues, concerns, and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coach employees and management on how to complete incident reporting per the Security Incident Reporting Standard.
 </li>
 <li>
 Take the lead on all district security incident investigations, in coordination with Regional and CHQ Security.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Business Continuity Plan development and testing.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Communication &amp; Security Awareness
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Facilitate the development of a security-conscious mindset within the district.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and report on all security-related communication with the following parties:

 Expeditors District and Local police department
 </li>
 <li>
 Customers and Service Providers
 </li>
 <li>
 Regional / CHQ Security and Cargo Signal Teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Support product and account management as needed with:
 </li>
 <li>
 Security matters related to port authority, carriers, warehouses, AEO and CTPAT programs, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sales initiatives and facilitation of customer-specific security requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Cargo Signal sales engagements, as needed and Customers&rsquo; security teams including involvement in preparing for any customer security audits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep district management and sales up to date on new security initiatives, training material and security-related information provided by the Regional / CHQ Security.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Operational Performance Standards; Cargo Security Regulations
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure 100% district compliance with all local security regulations, in coordination with district compliance officers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure 100% district compliance with all Operational Performance Standards (Expeditors Security Standards).
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct Security &amp; Safety on-boarding orientation with new Service Providers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct Service Provider Risk Reviews to confirm 100% compliance with the Security &amp; Safety Notice.
 </li>
 <li>
 All non-compliant items on the Risk Review must be communicated to the Service Provider Manager and/or applicable Department Manager at the district. They are responsible for following up and resolving each issue with the Service Provider within 90 days.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must monitor for resolution of open action items at the 90 and 180 days to determine appropriate security status.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 CTPAT/AEO/Other WCO Program Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Be familiar with the background of, and Expeditors&rsquo; participation in, the CTPAT program and/or local AEO / WCO program.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand how to prepare for a CTPAT/AEO validation visit using the CTPAT Validation Process Flow Chart.
 </li>

 Follow process for comprehensive recap after a validation visit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand the benefits of CTPAT as it related to business resumption as supported by the branches business continuity plan.

 Deliver and/or facilitate security-related district-trainer-led courses as required/requested.

Job Description 
The focus of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is on achieving results that are aligned with the overall organization and it's strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, are the keys to achieving the performance objectives of the District Sales Executive role at Expeditors.
The DSE orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. The job environment is flexible, constantly changing, and provides growth opportunity, recognition and reward for the achievement of business results. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.
Key Deliverables
These are the minimum results expected from a successful District Sales Executive:<ul><li>
Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area</li><li>
Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool</li><li>
Orchestrate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources</li><li>
Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer's logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations</li><li>
Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.</li><li>
Attend training &amp; development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge</li><li>
Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager</li><li>

Qualifications

Scope of Position
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department. 
Major Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system</li><li>
Track and Trace Ocean Export Files and reporting</li><li>
Ensure documents are timely sent and arrival notices communicated to overseas and customers</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.</li><li>
Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.</li><li>
Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers (Ocean carriers, trucking companies and others involved).</li><li>

Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity</li><li>
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs</li><li>

Checking Ocean Export Workboard and Scoracard daily</li><li>
To sell insurance for all prepaid shipments</li><li>
Checking OCL for each shipment</li><li>
Checking vendor invoices and giving to Account dept timely, no inv for previous month</li><li>
Checking buying rates from different ocean carrier</li><li>
Meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.</li><li>
Attend training classes when required.</li><li>
Complete mandatory training when required.</li><li>

Job Description 
Air Export &amp; Import Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:<ul><li>
Track and Trace shipments.</li><li>
Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.</li><li>
Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.</li><li>
Dispatch freight.</li><li>
