Job Description 
Position Overview
Ground Network Operations Agents support the execution of the GNS by managing daily truck operations and managing the GNS shipments through the network. Works within a warehouse facility, primarily on the computer, there are various other tasks that will be required outside of computer work. Various work schedules may be required for this position, including late afternoon and evening, night and weekends.
Position Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday 0800-1630
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Create operating records for scheduled and ad hoc truck routes in Expeditors' systems.</li><li>
Coordinate the recovery of cargo from CFS facilities or 3rd party locations for induction into the Ground Network.</li><li>
Prepare paperwork for the transfer of freight within the network including load manifests and bills of lading.</li><li>
Manage system updates.</li><li>
Receive and inspect network inbound and transfer freight as needed.</li><li>
Identify potential operational delays and capacity constraints in the ground network.</li><li>
Assist in enacting contingencies to expand ad hoc capacity as needed, and arranging reroutes and additional trucks as necessary.</li><li>
Record system delays and perform root analysis as necessary.</li><li>
Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidations in e.tms Export and Import and monitoring work flows.</li><li>
Ensure service provider equipment is in place at regional branches to facilitate operations.</li><li>
Perform service provider reviews and update CRM as necessary.</li><li>
Will be communicating via email across the network</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Degree or equivalent required</li><li>
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States</li><li>
Must not require future sponsorship for employment Visa</li><li>
Fluent in English, both written and verbal</li><li>
Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department's needs</li><li>
Must be able to commute to the city of Carson, CA</li><li>
Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills</li></ul>
Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint)</li><li>
Ability to prioritize throughout the workday while remaining focused and organized to meet critical deadlines</li><li>

Has a demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliability</li><li>
Undergraduate Degree preferred</li><li>

Job Description 
Air Export &amp; Import Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:<ul><li>
Track and Trace shipments.</li><li>
Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.</li><li>
Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.</li><li>
Dispatch freight.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to person.</li><li>
Monitor reports.</li><li>
Accurate and timely client billing.</li><li>
Contribute to maintaining strong service provider relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others.</li><li>
Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.</li><li>
Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.</li><li>
Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.</li><li>
Training and Development - must obtain required 52 hours of annual training. (company provided)</li></ul>

 The focus of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is on achieving results that are aligned with the overall organization and it's strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, are the keys to achieving the performance objectives of the District Sales Executive role at Expeditors.
 
 
 The DSE orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. The job environment is flexible, constantly changing, and provides growth opportunity, recognition and reward for the achievement of business results. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.
 
 
 
 Key Deliverables
 
 
 
 These are the minimum results expected from a successful District Sales Executive:

 Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool

 Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer's logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations

 Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.

 Attend training &amp; development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge

 Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager
