<ul><li>Give you direct influence over some of the company's largest and most strategic investments</li>
<li>Partner you with Engineering, Product, Security Operations, and executive leaders who rely on data-driven decision making</li>

</ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Can Do For Expel</b></h2>
<ul><li>Own budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning for Engineering, Product, Detection &amp; Response, SOC, and G&amp;A functions</li>
<li>Develop and maintain cost models that connect infrastructure investments, cloud consumption, and operating expenses to business outcomes</li>
<li>Partner with Engineering and Product leaders on hiring plans, capacity modeling, contractor strategies, and investment prioritization</li>
<li>Lead vendor and SaaS spend reviews, identifying opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining operational effectiveness</li>
<li>Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking insights that help leaders understand both performance and future implications</li>
<li>Build analytical frameworks that support strategic decisions around growth, efficiency, and resource allocation</li>
<li>Partner closely with Accounting, Procurement, and business leaders to improve forecasting accuracy and financial visibility</li>
<li>Leverage AI tools and automation to improve analytical throughput and eliminate low-value manual work</li>
</ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Should Bring With You</b></h2>
<ul><li>5+ years of progressive FP&amp;A experience, including at least 2 years supporting a GTM organization</li>
<li>Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, LTV/CAC, retention, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, and sales efficiency</li>
<li>Experience partnering directly with VP and executive-level stakeholders</li>
<li>Exceptional financial modeling and business analysis skills</li>
<li>Proficiency with Adaptive Insights (or similar), Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and BI platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or Qlik</li>
<li>Experience working with SQL or customer-level data is a plus</li>
<li>Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where ambiguity is common and business impact matters</li>
<li>A Bachelor's degree or a compelling story</li>
</ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Additional Notes</b></h2>
<p>
The base salary range for this role is between $114,300 USD and $165,700 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.<br>
<br>
We believe in paying transparently and equitably. While compensation is based on experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations, we're generally targeting candidates around the <b>$140,000 - $145,000 base salary</b> range for this role. You&rsquo;ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.</p>
