 We are looking to hire a talented Project Contracts Manager for one of our clients, based in UAE.
 
 
 You will be successful in monitoring and controlling expenditure on all the Company developments by controlling the "cost of sales", as well as ensuring that all Company Commercial policies and procedures are adhered to within the company.
 
 
 Ensure information security management system is implemented at project.

 :
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review all Contractual clarifications and participate for negotiations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead &amp; evaluate the status of Projects &amp; Contract QSs, arrange periodical guidance/awareness programs, implement suitable in-house Trainings and apprise the Management
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review the Terms &amp; Conditions of concerned Projects' contracts, participate for site inspections, and apprise Chief Operating Officer through the Manager Contracts and Admin &amp; Construction or Project Manager on feasible &amp; alternative projects contractual aspect
 </li>
 <li>
 Builds a good working rapport with customers, consultants and key members of supply chain and ensures there is good open dialogue throughout the project
 </li>
 <li>
 Review the existing Projects Contractual discrepancies and advise Project Management for appropriate actions beforehand
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor closely the financial status of the contracts, cost control, Project closeout &amp; settlement of financial accounts &amp; advice the Projects Management as &amp; when necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Works closely with the project quantity surveyor (QS) to produce procurement schedules linked to the construction program
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures that the site team is working in accordance with the latest information, maintaining the drawing register and all other relevant records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review &amp; certify of Payment certificates, Analysis of claims, evaluation of new unit rates and advice the Concerned Project Manager &amp; Manager Contracts &amp; Admin.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review the cost analysis with the Tender estimates, check noticeable variances for corrective action &amp; appraise the relevant authority
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform additional duties as required by Manager Contracts and Admin/ Project Manager
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote QHSE &amp; ISMS policies within the company and ensure that the quality, environmental, health, safety &amp; Information Security management system procedures are followed at all times, striving for continuous improvement until the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System is achieved

 Qualifications
 
 
 :
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Educational Qualification:
 </li>
 <li>
 Degree in Civil Engineer/Quantity Surveying or any other relevant discipline from Reputed University with Sound Academic Merits
 </li>
 <li>
 Number of years of experience: Over 15 years
 </li>
 <li>
 Specialized trainings required: MRICS, MSCS, PMAQS &amp; PRQS / MMUP
 </li>
 <li>
 Area of experience required:
 </li>
 <li>
 Dispute resolution, Remediation, Claims &amp; Arbitration
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Competency requirements
 
 :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Adequate knowledge in UAE Labour Law &amp; working legislation of UAE
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound knowledge and expertise in developing, negotiating, and monitoring the contract with multi-disciplined construction activities in a multi-cultural environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lead a work team and foster an environment that is safe and encourage a team spirit and recognition of good performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interact effectively and in supportive manner with work force of all backgrounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound understanding of the application of MS Office
 </li>
