<div>The Position

 Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for a team of direct labor employees focused on safety, quality, and throughput of various work cells within the repairs department. The Operations Supervisor also serves as a facilitator for spreading and reinforcing company culture within the team.

Key Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>Will oversee a subset of work cells in support of Extant Aerospace&rsquo;s repairs department.</li>
<li>Support high mix, low volume electronics repair and testing.</li>
<li>Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plan to meet, and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements.</li>
<li>Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, equipment, and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management.</li>
<li>Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement in processes.</li>
<li>Establish and implement clear communication lines and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment to drive productivity initiatives.</li></ul> 


Minimum Education/Experience
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, plus a minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience managing and leading people; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills required e.g., demonstrated ability to take data from varying sources, analyze, interpret, and use it to make business decisions.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with and motivate a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul></div>
