We&rsquo;re looking for a friendly, motivated Optometric Technician to join our team and help deliver exceptional care in a supportive, fast-paced environment.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Perform preliminary testing: autorefraction, tonometry, visual acuity, and more</li><li>Operate advanced diagnostic equipment: OCT, retinal imaging, corneal topography</li><li>Educate patients on contact lens handling and hygiene</li><li>Assist the doctor during procedures and evaluations</li><li>Manage optical orders and dispensing</li><li>Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure equipment readiness</li><li>Support EMR documentation and clinical workflow</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Positive, energetic attitude with a focus on patient experience</li><li>Strong multitasking and organizational abilities</li><li>Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer use</li><li>Prior experience in optometry or healthcare is a plus &mdash; but we&rsquo;re happy to train the right candidate</li><li>Quick learner and collaborative team player</li><li>Bonus: Research experience or fluency in Spanish or Chinese</li></ul>A background check will be conducted for selected candidates.Job Details<ul><li>Type: Full-time/Part-time</li><li>Schedule:</li><li>Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM</li><li>Wed: 9:00 AM &ndash; 1:00 PM</li><li>Location: In-person at our Katy office</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Health and dental insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Employee discounts on products and services</li><li>Supportive team culture and growth opportunities</li></ul>Ready to join a practice that values your skills and invests in your growth?
