Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented Marine Engineer I to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, planning, and cost estimation of a wide range of waterfront and marine infrastructure projects&mdash;including water structures, shoreline access systems, and coastal site developments.

You bring a strong foundation in marine engineering principles, with knowledge in steel and concrete design, fluid mechanics, and coastal infrastructure. Working closely with experienced engineers and project managers, you&rsquo;ll help deliver innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for our clients and communities. 
Primary Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepare and review design specifications, construction plans, and cost estimates for marine structures and waterfront projects.</li>
<li>Develop technical reports and feasibility studies for shoreline access systems and site developments.</li>
<li>Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and L-Pile, for analysis and design.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Conduct site assessments and assist in evaluating environmental and structural challenges related to marine infrastructure.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in marine engineering projects.</li></ul> 


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>EIT preferred.</li>
<li>Background in steel design, concrete design, and fluid mechanics.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and/or L-Pile.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Strong communication and project management abilities.</li></ul>
