What You'll Do
<ul><li>FactSet is seeking a Python Developer, along with good problem-solving skills, to join our engineering team responsible for making our product more scalable and reliable.
</li><li>Deliver high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines.
</li><li>Proactive in providing technical solutions with effective communication &amp; collaboration skills.
</li><li>Perform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
</li><li>Work in an agile team environment and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
</li><li>Ownership on end-end product &amp; Individual contribution.
</li><li>Performance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring of the product.
</li><li>Ensure high stability of the product.
</li><li>Continuous Knowledge sharing internal &amp; external to the team.
</li><li>Collaborate with other engineers and Product Developers in a Scrum Agile environment using Jira and Confluence
</li><li>Estimate task sizes and regularly communicate progress in daily standups and biweekly Scrum meetings
</li></ul>What We're Looking For
Required
<ul><li>Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.
</li><li>2-4 years of overall industry experience.
</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Python.
</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Strong experience and proficiency with Python, Pandas, NumPy , and other Python libraries.
</li><li>Relational database experience, preferably with SQL, MSSQL.
</li><li>Experience with AWS environment e.g., Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, Fargate , Lambda, EMR etc.
</li><li>Experience with GitHub-based development processes.
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
</li><li>Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
</li><li>Experience building and deploying production-level services.
</li></ul>Desired Skills
<ul><li>Familiar with Agile software development (Scrum is a plus).
</li><li>Work experience in C# is plus.
</li><li>Experience with PostgreSQL.
</li><li>Work experience of Jupyter Notebooks is plus.
</li><li>Infrastructure as code using Terraform is plus.
</li><li>Experience working in Linux/Unix environment is desirable.

Your Impact:
FactSet&rsquo;s Client Solutions Internship Program introduces you to FactSet&rsquo;s solutions, clients, industry, and multiple teams within our client-facing and sales organization. You will begin your internship with a comprehensive training followed by a program that offers unique opportunities to contribute to our clients through assisting account teams with client projects, directly engaging with clients via phone or client visits, and developing creative solutions to our clients&rsquo; greatest challenges.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:
During our 20-week long (February to July) paid sinternship, you will:
