 Job Description
 
 
 
 As
 
 Purchasing Manager
 
 at Faena Red Sea, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring this standard&mdash;leading procurement with precision, negotiating strategically, and ensuring every department is fully supported to deliver world-class service.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop, implement, and manage the hotel's purchasing strategy to ensure best value and quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with department heads to identify purchasing needs and develop specifications for goods and services
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze and report on purchasing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and develop the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor inventory levels, ensuring efficiency, zero waste, and readiness for both planned and unexpected demand.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Finance on spend analysis, cost control, and budget optimization without compromising quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and Faena brand standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Champion sustainable and eco-conscious sourcing, elevating our commitment to environmental responsibility.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a hospitality or related industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of cost savings and process improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong track record in premium sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in procurement systems (Birchstreet), inventory management, and reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional financial and analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into strategy
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
