General Purpose
 
To administer medications under the supervision of a professional, licensed nurse and in accordance with applicable current State and Federal laws. To perform direct care duties under the supervision of professional, licensed nursing personnel. Assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents.

Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Must be a Certified Nursing Assistance in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Completion of Medication Administration Assistant course and show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions</li>
<li>Must speak and understand English</li>
<li>Positive attitude toward the elderly</li>
<li>Must understand standards of med pass and successfully demonstrate abilities within these standards</li>
