Job Summary</b></p><p>
The Regulatory and NonTechnical Risk Manager (RNTM) is an experienced, motivated, and resourceful individual that develops reliable and efficient strategies focused on complex regulatory and permitting efforts on a variety of projects in Alaska. The RNTM will also provide leadership and direction to team members in executing and delivering sound science attributes associated with the regulatory landscape.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Essential Duties</b></p><p>
Identify Business Opportunities to provide regulatory, permitting and compliance services to clients in Alaska with the potential to expand to other parts of the US</p><p>
Analyze requirements of Federal, State and Local governments to develop a comprehensive regulatory strategy to obtain timely, useable and fit for purpose permits in support of critical projects. Develop a plan including a stakeholder map to enable the efficient execution of a successful regulatory process. Identify the correct resources and develop and manage personnel effectively. Maintain strong communications and collaboration with clients, regulatory bodies and stakeholders.</p><p>
Support Business Development by Identifying clients and aiding in securing contracts for Fairweather LLC to provide support and solutions for a wide variety of industry, agency, and corporate clients.</p><p>
Deliver high quality support for clients to enable their success by providing timely permits along with appropriate compliance guidelines.</p><ul><li>
Prepare/oversee permit applications incorporating best management practices.</li><li>
Manage and develop technical staff to support permitting and compliance projects.</li><li>
Manage projects from inception through completion including proposal writing, budget tracking, and project closeout.</li><li>
Coordinate document revisions, including agency review comments, senior review comments, and author edits.</li><li>
Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycle.</li><li>
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.</li><li>
Work closely with clients, regulators, and staff to determine timing and content for permit applications and ensure that projects are completed in compliance with applicable regulations or client expectations.</li><li>
Effective and professional communication with clients, team members, and regulators.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>

Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Must possess a BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, or related field.</li><li>
Must have a minimum 10 years of experience in environmental, permitting, regulatory and compliance support.</li><li>
Must have a minimum of 10 years of Alaska Experience.</li><li>
Must have Oil and Gas, Mining, and Construction permitting experience.</li><li>
Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Job Summary
</b></div><div>Reporting to the Deadhorse Aviation Center Management, the Maintenance Technician I position is located at the Deadhorse Aviation Center and is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repair tasks on the center's buildings, grounds, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. This role involves executing small projects with minimal supervision and operating machinery such as loaders, sweepers, tugs, forklifts, and scissor lifts. Additionally, the technician will serve as a ground handling and marshaling crew member for aircraft as needed. Daily responsibilities include maintenance across multiple facilities, including light electrical work, HVAC systems, boilers, wastewater systems, and jetway/equipment servicing. New construction projects may require framing, plumbing, HVAC installation, electrical work, insulation, concrete work, roofing and siding, drywall installation, and painting.</div><div>
 The Deadhorse Aviation Center, a division of Fairweather, is the primary base for DAC maintenance and management staff. One of the best facilities to live on the North Slope, the DAC can accommodate up to 48 people and includes amenities such as private baths and satellite TV, a dining facility, exercise room, and self-service laundry. Established in 1976, Fairweather LLC is an Alaska-based service support company. Our commitment to quality service has been crucial to Fairweather&rsquo;s growth over the past four decades. Fairweather has broadened its operations to offer various highly sought-after support services to facilitate exploration and production activities in response to the expanding oil and gas industry. These services include advanced logistics and drilling support, regulatory and permitting management, remote medical services, meteorological and oceanographic forecasting, aviation and airstrip services, and workforce staffing. Fairweather is owned by Doyon, Limited an Alaska Native regional corporation. Essential Duties</b></div><ul><li>
Ensures corporate policies and procedures are being followed and safety standards are met</li><li>
Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures</li><li>
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects electrical, plumbing, fire pumps, heating systems, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. Documents maintenance performed and provide relevant comments to the Maintenance records.</li><li>
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required</li><li>
Cleans and maintains hangar space to include surface cleaning</li><li>
Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required</li><li>
Develops knowledge on Equipment and Building Systems.
</li><li>Assists in aircraft arrivals and departures to include maintenance support and snow removal.</li><li>
Prepares and loads/offloads shipments as needed</li></ul><div><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED or Trade School.
</li><li>Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Word &amp; Excel.
</li><li><b>Three to five years previous experience working in maintenance, construction or on Airports and FBO's.
</b></li><li><b>Forklift </b>and <b>Front-end Loader</b>or <b>Tug </b>certification (or ability to attain within one month from date of hire).
</li><li>Current <b>Alaska</b>Driver's License. A current CDL is Preferred, not required.
</li><li>Previous experience working <b>Remote / North Slope Arctic</b></li><li>
Must obtain an Airport AOA &amp; SIDA Security Clearance (last 10 years) and Criminal History Background Check</li></ul><div><b>
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</b></div><ul><li>
