<div>Description: 
Assures quality foster care services by managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit; supervises, trains and coordinates activities of up to five foster care specialists and family support workers; assists the Program Manager in hiring recommendations and assures compliance with DHHS, COA and Agency policies and practice standards. Conveys to staff the goal of reunification and the importance of keeping children within their family unit when possible.
Requirements:<ul><li> 
Assigns caseloads and related duties; coordinates activities of staff in providing foster care services in multiple counties with multiple funding sources.</li><li>Assists Program Manager with the performance management of staff, including recommendations on recruitment, discipline, and development.</li><li>Reviews and signs case records and court documents for all professional staff. Reviews family support worker documentation.</li><li>Provides up-to-date in-service training for workers in areas such as new state policies, procedures, legal issues, and licensing regulations/rules and how to interface with courts in multiple counties.</li><li>Participates in various Agency committees.</li><li>Represents the Agency in community and interagency activities.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED &ndash;<ul><li>Minimum of a BA/BS in human service-related field.</li><li>Minimum of four to six years relevant experience in human services/child welfare, three years of which have been in a child welfare agency, child caring institution, or in an agency performing a child welfare function.</li><li>Ability to understand, demonstrate and apply the Agency&rsquo;s workplace values.</li></ul>
PREFERRED &ndash;<ul><li>MSW/MA and prior supervisory experience.</li><li>Lived experience with behavioral health issues.</li></ul></div>
