Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, retirement homes, and home care environments. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and the ability to perform essential daily living activities (ADLs) while ensuring the comfort and safety of those in your care.Duties - Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. - Provide personal care and support to individuals in home care or long-term care settings. - Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. - Administer first aid as needed and respond promptly to any medical emergencies. - Lift and transfer patients safely using appropriate techniques to prevent injury. - Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs. - Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress while adhering to confidentiality protocols. - Engage with residents or clients socially to promote emotional well-being and enhance their quality of life.Skills - Strong understanding of ADLs and caregiving practices in home care or assisted living environments. - Ability to lift patients safely and provide physical support as needed. - Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response techniques. - Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care. - Experience in long-term care settings or retirement homes is preferred but not mandatory. - Familiarity with meal preparation for individuals with dietary restrictions is an advantage. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and documentation.Join our team as a Medical Technician where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve while working in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in healthcare.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
