Services include, but are not limited to adult care, chronic disease management, pediatrics, comprehensive women&rsquo;s care including obstetrics, dental, vision, case management, physical rehabilitation, speech therapy for children, vaccinations, infectious diseases, behavioral health, substance use counseling and a host of specialty services including cardiology, podiatry, endocrinology, dermatology, among others. FHCSD also offers supportive services to those who are unsheltered and in need of intensive case management.
The breadth of our clinic locations, services and programs has grown over the last five decades, making us the largest community clinic provider of health care to the uninsured in the county and one of the top 10 largest community clinic organizations in the nation. We are also the largest health care safety-net provider, largest school-based health care provider and the largest mental health provider in the San Diego region.
Job Roles<ul><li>
Accurately charts diagnosis of providers, assisting the front office as needed with charts, recalls, billing, x-rays and filing.</li><li>
Assists both dentist and hygienist chair side as needed. Provides accurate translation of communication of treatment and information between patients and providers.</li><li>
Completes all required documentation accurately, in a timely manner, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patients' insurance requirements.</li><li>
Maintains instruments and equipment, sterilization, tray set-ups, unit stocking-preparations to facilitate efficiency, quality care with patient, and provider satisfaction. Maintains equipment including x-ray equipment, sterilizers, vacuum system dental units, and hand pieces. Uses resources efficiently, practices in a cost-effective manner.</li><li>
Performs DA duties, including instrument processing and sterilization. Takes x-rays that are of good diagnostic quality, acceptable to providers and 3rd party payers.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Certificate of completion from an accredited program for dental assistants or equivalent on-the-job training.</li><li>
Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS) certification required.</li><li>
Dental x-ray Certificate.</li><li>
High school diploma (or GED equivalent).</li><li>
California Dental Board Dental Practice Act and Infection Control certifications required within 1 year of employment.</li><li>
Traveling between sites and other locations is occasionally required. Must have a valid California driver&rsquo;s license, an automobile, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California driver&rsquo;s license within ten days of establishing residency. Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for an Architectural Designer who will assist in managing every phase of the design projects from programming and schematic design to construction administration.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
With input from the Project Manager and/or Architect, responsible for the design and technical development of project construction documents through all phases of the design process.</li><li>
Assist in organizing and maintaining QA/QC of technical documentation process through all phases.</li><li>
Provide oversight to project team on delegated tasks and work in collaboration with project team.</li><li>
Review, track, and address design team member&rsquo;s and Consultants on day-to-day questions or issues related to drawing coordination, organization and detailing.</li><li>
Provide information, development support and training to team members through office training processes and procedures designed to expand and enhance skills of other team members.</li><li>
Participate in on-site meetings, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and execute punch walks.</li><li>
Prepare design presentations and renderings when needed.</li><li>
Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants to include outside Architecture firms, Structural, MEP and Civil Engineers.</li><li>
Research and evaluate materials and products, and/or consult with manufacturers on installation details and warranty information.</li><li>
Research jurisdictional requirements, i.e., applicable codes, submittal/plan check processes.</li><li>
Identify and prepare necessary applications, documentation, and plans for the permitting process.</li><li>
May independently research unfamiliar code sections and construction details.</li><li>
Ensure quality and timely completion of design projects are conducted through prior planning and communicating with project team to ensure productivity is proceeding in a timely manner.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.</li><li>
5 - 7 years of experience drafting at an Architectural and/or Engineering firm.</li><li>
Working experience and proficiency with AutoCad and Revit.</li><li>
Demonstrated and strong design and graphic skills.</li><li>
Knowledge of commonly used architectural concepts, practices and procedures.</li><li>
Knowledge of architectural detailing.</li><li>
Knowledge of building codes, applicable OSHPD and other Healthcare related design requirements to include construction materials and methods, and graphic standards.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with the permitting process.</li><li>

Perform Workday administrative functions including business process and tenant configuration. Monitor and troubleshoot integrations and BPs supporting finance processes, determine root cause, and implement solutions.</li><li>
Understand Workday security including adjusting domains and security groups. Maintain the roles (for all business functional areas) related to security groups; this includes working with functional areas to assign and change roles depending on job function.</li><li>
Lead the Workday release preparation, including monitoring Workday Community for new release functionality. Coordinating with impacted business units to make required configuration/ content / reporting / integration changes.</li><li>
Analyze and manage Workday releases, assess impacts including architecting, configuring, prototyping, testing, and deploying updates.</li><li>
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements, advise stakeholders on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems.</li><li>
Coordinate with finance and accounting team to understand and document business requirements and use cases, design, and configure Workday. Maintain design workbooks.</li><li>
Ensure that recommendations from implementation partner fit Sees standards of minimum customization, maximum scalability.</li><li>
