ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b></p><br>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.</li>
<li>Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.</li>
<li>Physical and mental assessment of hospital and emergency room patients.</li>
<li>Initiation of proper emergency care.</li>
<li>Notification of physician and family on admission and reporting significant changes during hospitalization.</li>
<li>Receiving and carrying out physician&rsquo;s orders.</li>
<li>Assisting physician&rsquo;s with medical procedures.</li>
<li>Safety and correctly performing all procedures within the scope of nursing practices.</li>
<li>Knowledge of medication dosages, routes, and actions.</li>
<li>Careful administration of medication ordered.</li>
<li>Reordering and stocking supplies and medications as needed.</li>
<li>Observes universal precautions, following guidelines and policies</li>
<li>Recognition, initiation, observation of special precautions.</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean, organized work area.</li>
<li>Identification of patient needs, planning and implementation of care.</li>
<li>Direct assistance with patient mobility, hygiene, and ADL&rsquo;s.</li>
<li>Assuring that all records required for admission, consent, discharge etc., are completed.</li>
<li>Complete and accurate documentation of assessments, vital signs, observations, situations and events.</li>
<li>Courteous, while promoting healing and holistic approach to patient care.</li>
<li>Formal and informal teaching of patients, families and staff within scope of practice.</li></ul><br>

Associate&rsquo;s Degree (A.A.) or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (B.S.) from an accredited school of nursing; or equivalent diploma degree.</p></div></div><div><br>

Current unrestricted State of Colorado RN License in good standing.</p></div></div><div><br>

Minimum 1 year ER experience required.</p>

Wage starts at $37.00 plus 15% for PRN = $42.55 and goes up with experience</i></b></p>

Experience</b></h4>
Required<ul><li>
- Associates Degree or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing from an Accredited Nursing School - Unrestricted Colorado RN License - Clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, Nursing skills, physiological knowledge, administering medications, medical team work, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenance - BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire. TNCC within 3 months of hire.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
