Family Practice Associates, located on the campus of St Francis Medical Center in Midlothian Virginia, has an open position for a full-time medical receptionist/patient service representative with proven experience in the medical office setting. The hours of the position are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.Responsibilities of the medical receptionist include but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Excellent patient service and communication abilities as you are the first impression for our patients as they arrive to the office.</li><li>Check-in the patient to include verification of insurance and demographics along with collection of co-pay and previous balances.</li><li>Competence with multi-tasking as you handle multiple incoming calls to include appointment scheduling, patient queries and directing calls from specialists and pharmacies to the appropriate department.</li><li>Proficiency with Practice Management and EHR systems including Microsoft Office and medical record management.</li><li>Understand the importance of team work as we strive to meet the needs of our patients</li></ul>We offer a competitive salary based on previous experience for this position along with an excellent benefits package to include health, dental, vision and life insurance along with a generous 401K plan for qualified applicants.We are a customer service oriented medical practice focused on meeting the needs of our patients. Family Practice Associates is an independent family medicine practice located on the campus of St Francis Medical Center. We have an immediate opening for a full time Medical Assistant with previous experience in family medicine office to work one on one with one of our providers.You will be the primary contact for your provider. It is important to have previous experience with the following skills:<ul><li>Triaging patients in the office and by phone or portal</li><li>Visits will include collecting vitals, updating medication lists and review of past history</li><li>Performing EKGs, administering injections and phlebotomy</li><li>Follow up after the visit to include: completion of provider orders, refills and referrals</li><li>EMR experience for the documentation of all activities/interventions with the patient</li></ul>Family Practice Associates offers competitive pay based on experience along with an excellent benefits package to include health, dental, vision and life insurance along with a generous 401K plan for qualified applicants.We are a progressive medical practice caring for patients of all ages.
