Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our company&rsquo;s vehicle fleet. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of all transportation assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of fleet operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the company's logistical success while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage daily fleet operations, including scheduling, inspecting, and dispatching of vehicles to meet organizational needs.</li><li>Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with safety regulations.</li><li>Understand and maintain Amazon DSP/DOT safety and vehicle regulation, ensuring all fleet is operable for daily operations.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance history, licensing, and insurance documentation.</li><li>Develop and enforce policies related to driver safety, vehicle usage, and compliance with transportation laws.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors for vehicle repairs</li><li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct regular audits to minimize risks associated with fleet operations.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in fleet management or transportation logistics is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with hands on repairs of routine obstacles</li><li>Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams or drivers.</li><li>Proficiency in fleet management software or related technology platforms is a plus.</li><li>Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
