Job Title: MEP Coordination Lead Location: Nagpur Reports To: Design Head Employment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewThe MEP Coordination Lead will oversee the integration, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within projects. This role ensures that MEP designs align with architectural and structural requirements, meets client expectations, and complies with industry standards. The MEP Coordination Lead will also lead cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and deliver high-quality systems within project timelines and budgets.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>MEP Coordination Leadership</li><li>Lead and manage the coordination of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Ensure alignment of MEP designs with architectural and structural plans.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for MEP-related discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.</li><li>Project Oversight</li><li>Develop and manage coordination schedules to meet project milestones.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and review of MEP drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.</li><li>Address and resolve design conflicts and discrepancies during the design and construction phases.</li><li>Technical Expertise</li><li>Review MEP systems for compliance with building codes, safety standards, and sustainability goals.</li><li>Monitor the integration of energy-efficient systems and innovative technologies.</li><li>Conduct regular site visits to ensure MEP installation aligns with approved designs.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication</li><li>Facilitate coordination meetings among architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.</li><li>Mentor and guide MEP coordination team members.</li><li>Communicate technical concepts and project progress to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>Quality Assurance and Risk Management</li><li>Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of MEP systems.</li><li>Identify potential risks or issues related to MEP systems and propose mitigation strategies.</li><li>Ensure timely resolution of construction or operational challenges related to MEP systems.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>12-15 years of professional experience in MEP design, installation, and coordination.</li><li>Proven track record of leading MEP teams on large-scale projects.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Bye-laws, IS Codes, local norms of Maharashtra and NBC</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in MEP coordination software such as AutoCAD MEP (Added advantage for Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM tools)</li><li>Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.</li></ul>Certifications (preferred):<ul><li>LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent project management and sustainability certifications.</li><li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

This role involves overseeing design processes, resolving coordination challenges, and ensuring design deliverables are consistent, accurate, and aligned with project goals and timelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design Coordination</li><li>Act as the primary liaison between architectural teams, engineers, consultants, and contractors.</li><li>Review and integrate design inputs from various disciplines to ensure compatibility and accuracy.</li><li>Identify and resolve conflicts in design documentation and construction plans.</li><li>Project Oversight</li><li>Develop and manage design coordination schedules and workflows.</li><li>Ensure all design phases meet project deadlines, quality standards, and budget requirements.</li><li>Facilitate design coordination meetings and workshops to address technical issues.</li><li>Documentation and Compliance</li><li>Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and BIM models for consistency.</li><li>Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.</li><li>Maintain thorough records of design coordination decisions and changes.</li><li>Team Collaboration</li><li>Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and client representatives to address design-related queries.</li><li>Mentor and support junior architects and design team members.</li><li>Foster a collaborative environment to encourage creative problem-solving and innovation.</li><li>Quality Assurance</li><li>Conduct regular design audits to ensure adherence to project standards.</li><li>Monitor the implementation of design elements during the construction phase.</li><li>Provide feedback and recommendations to improve design coordination processes.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Architecture or a related field.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>15-20 years of professional experience in architectural design, including a focus on coordination roles.</li><li>Must have good knowledge of building bye-laws, statutory approval process and local bye-laws of Maharashtra and other states.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects. Must have done Hospitality projects, group housing, commercial projects.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD. Added advantage with Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360).</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering systems, construction processes, and technical coordination.</li><li>Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Certifications (preferred):<ul><li>Licensed Architect (RA, AIA, or equivalent certification).</li><li>Familiarity with LEED, IGBC, WELL, or similar sustainability frameworks.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
