As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors, physician assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.Responsibilities<ul><li>Interview patients and document basic medical history</li><li>Serve as a scribe during the medical/ cosmetic visit encounters</li><li>Communicate lab results to patients as per the doctor's instructions</li><li>Answer phone calls regarding patients' medical questions</li><li>Assist during medical examinations and surgical procedures</li><li>Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments</li><li>Prepare patients for cosmetic procedures</li><li>Any other clinical tasks as assigned by the managers</li><li>Scribe visits with the guidance of the provider</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven working experience as a clinical medical assistant</li><li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work</li><li>Social perceptiveness, service oriented and a team player</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational and planning skills</li><li>Preferred EMR experience: Modernizing Medicine's EMA</li><li>Dermatology experience preferred</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Dermatology</li><li>Surgery</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EMR Systems: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Medical Assistance: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
