ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the front desk and gym operations. Duties include greeting and directing members, assisting with managing check-ins and all member accounts in MindBody, and aiding the members and managers. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Always provide excellent customer service to members and visitors during the check-in process with a friendly and professional manner.</li><li>
Give tours and provide accurate information to prospective members.</li><li>
Be knowledgeable of all membership and class options available and assist customers in making selections that meet their needs.</li><li>
Answer emails, calls and in-person questions in a timely and professional manner or direct them to the appropriate manager.</li><li>
Proactively address member and visitor concerns or complaints.</li><li>
Check members into MindBody system accurately and effectively run point of sale system.</li><li>
Regular and predictable attendance</li><li>
Complete all incident reports as necessary</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned; this is not an all-inclusive descriptive list.</li><li>
Ensure safe work practices are being followed at all times.</li><li>
Proper conduct and professionalism is essential at all times.</li><li>
Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for a gym environment.</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the fitness or recreation industry</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Ability to effectively present information on one-on-one and small group situations to clients, and other employees in the organization.</li><li>
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.</li><li>
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar word processing applications and MindBody scheduling software.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills.</li><li>
Must be able to concentrate through distractions and communicate effectively.</li></ul>
GENERAL INFORMATION<ul><li>
$15.75/hour</li><li>
Immediate need</li><li>
Part-time -15 to 25 hours per week on site</li></ul>
