FASTSIGNS #311401 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team!

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer/Production Specialist Will: 
 
<ul><li>Design artwork for signage and print</li>
<li>Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied</li>
<li>Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media</li>
<li>Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.</li>
<li>Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate</li>
<li>Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files</li>
<li>Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium</li>
<li>Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc</li>
<li>Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images</li>
<li>Operate and maintain printer(s)</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards</li>
<li>Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces</li>
<li>Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.</li>

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist: 
 
<ul><li>1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Proficient in Adobe Illustrator</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously</li>
<li>Determine the best output method based on the customer&rsquo;s needs</li>
<li>Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 or more pounds</li>
<li>Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work</li>
Ability to use light power equipment
