Job Title: Legal Assistant Company: Fatehpuria Hygiene Pvt. Ltd. Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2&ndash;5 years (post-qualification preferred) Industry: FMCG / Distribution / ManufacturingJob Summary: The Legal Advisor will be responsible for managing the company&rsquo;s legal affairs, including contracts, compliance, litigation, corporate governance, and advisory services. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws, regulatory compliance, and risk management, along with analytical and negotiation skills to protect the company&rsquo;s interests and support business growth.Role Overview:<ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documents.</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labor laws, and other statutory regulations.</li><li>Advise management on legal rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Manage legal disputes, liaise with external counsel, and represent the company in legal proceedings.</li><li>Support corporate governance, including board meetings, resolutions, and filings.</li><li>Assist in intellectual property matters, licensing, and regulatory approvals.</li><li>Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business and ensure timely compliance.</li><li>Provide proactive legal guidance to different departments to prevent potential legal issues.</li><li>Conduct legal research and maintain records of legal cases, contracts, and policies.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Law (LLB); additional LLM or specialization is a plus.</li><li>1&ndash;5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, distribution, or manufacturing sectors.</li><li>Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory laws.</li><li>Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, agreements, and other legal documents.</li><li>Proficiency in legal research and use of legal software/tools.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills.</li><li>High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.</li></ul>You can share your updated CV on pooja@jayank.comJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;50,000.00 - &#8377;60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
