About usFather Nature Landscapes is a small business in Tacoma, WA. We are professional, fast-paced and customer-centric.We are looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping and horticulture, as well as experience in leading a team of workers and interacting with clients in-person as well as via email. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the crew and overseeing its daily operations, assigning tasks, and ensuring the quality of work is up to company standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance crew to ensure that landscape quality is not reduced, and the lawn and garden areas are monitored for our clients</li><li>Inspect and maintain landscaping equipment and tools</li><li>Ensure safety standards are met</li><li>Train and mentor new crew members</li><li>Prevent and control diseases, weeds, and insects</li><li>Perform all duties and operations which include trimming, mowing, edging, pruning, etc.</li><li>Report all sales opportunities.</li><li>Loading/unloading of material, equipment, and green waste over 80 lbs.</li><li>Ability to access and navigate our bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other areas of our facilities</li><li>Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors, especially during hot, cold, and rainy weather conditions</li><li>Great communication skills</li></ul>Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Landscape maintenance: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Crew management: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
