The Librarian will perform a variety of professional librarian duties with primary responsibility for information literacy instruction, technical services, and electronic resource management; and to provide responsible administrative and professional support to the Dean of Academic Support and Learning Resources.<br>

Duties
<div><b>Essential Duties&mdash;</b>Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:</div><ul>
<li>Works in coordination with the Lead Instruction Librarian for instruction-related activities.</li>
<li>Provide course-integrated information literacy instruction in coordination with the Lead Instruction Librarian.</li>
<li>Classify and catalog print and non-print materials using standard reference tools.</li>
<li>Perform original cataloging and maintain metadata standards.</li>
<li>Maintain and troubleshoot electronic resource access and authentication systems.</li>
<li>Support discovery systems and library platforms.</li>
<li>Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve system and access issues.</li>
<li>Provide reference, instructional, and bibliographic services.</li>
<li>Prepare instructional materials and research guides.</li>
<li>Consult with faculty regarding instructional and resource needs.</li>
<li>Review and recommend materials for acquisition and/or disposition.</li>
<li>Compile reports and usage statistics.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and support to technical and clerical staff as needed.</li>
<li>Perform related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>A Master of Library Science degree from an accredited college or university is required.</li>
<li>Two years of professional library experience, including instruction and/or technical services.</li>
</ul>Preferred Requirements Full or Part Time Full Time College Pay Scale Minimum starting salary $58,450 Number of Months 12 Employee Benefits
