Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Visa Agent to join our travel management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with visa applications, managing documentation processes, and ensuring smooth visa processing operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

<li>Process and review visa applications for various destinations</li>
<li>Guide clients through visa requirements and documentation processes</li>
<li>Handle online visa application submissions and tracking</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and documentation in Excel spreadsheets</li>
<li>Prepare invoices and manage billing processes for visa services</li>
<li>Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa processing centers</li>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service throughout the visa application journey</li>
<li>Follow up on pending applications and communicate status updates to clients</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills
<ul>
<li>Visa Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of visa requirements, processes, and regulations for major international destinations</li>
<li>Online Application Processing: Proficiency in various online visa application portals and e-visa systems</li>
<li>Excel Proficiency: Basic to intermediate Excel skills including data entry, formatting, and basic formulas</li>
<li>Billing &amp; Accounting: Understanding of invoicing, payment processing, and basic accounting principles</li>
</ul>
Soft Skills

<li>Communication Skills:
<ul><li>Excellent written communication for emails and documentation</li>
<li>Strong verbal communication for client consultations and phone interactions</li>
<li>Ability to explain complex visa requirements in simple terms</li>

Day in the life:
<ul><li>Design and customize comprehensive travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and requirements</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide expert advice on Air tickets, accommodations, transportation, visas and travel requirements</li></ul>
<ul><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and regular follow-up</li></ul>
<ul><li>Stay current on travel trends, destinations, supplier offerings, and industry developments</li></ul>
<ul><li>Research and recommend appropriate travel options, including flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and ancillary services</li></ul>
<ul><li>Process bookings, prepare travel documentation, and ensure all details are accurately recorded</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handle complex itineraries, special requests, and VIP client arrangements</li></ul>
<ul><li>Resolve travel-related issues and provide assistance to clients before, during, and after travel</li></ul>
<ul><li>Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics</li></ul>

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in travel consulting or related roles</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrated sales ability and track record of meeting/exceeding targets</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, or similar)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong knowledge of geography, international destinations, and travel products</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex itineraries, visas, accommodation and transportation bookings</li></ul>
