About the Role</b></div><div></div><div><br>
We are seeking a Senior Accountant &amp; Taxation Lead who can manage end-to-end finance operations including accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and taxation for our fast-growing e-commerce business.This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a startup environment, and can wear multiple hats until we scale into a larger finance team.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Accounting &amp; Controllership</b></div><div></div><div><br>
a. Own full accounting cycle &ndash; AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and marketplace settlements.</div><div>
b. Ensure timely monthly book closure within T+5 days.</div><div>
c. Perform monthly inventory audits.</div><div>
d. Prepare MIS schedules and support FP&amp;A with financial reporting.</div><div>
e. Manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and compliance with credit terms.</div><div>
f. Support statutory and internal audits with accurate schedules &amp; documentation.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Taxation &amp; Compliance</b></div><div></div><div><br>
a. File GST, TDS, Advance Tax accurately and on/before deadlines.</div><div>
b. Handle GST reconciliations (Books vs GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B vs 2B).</div><div>
c. Manage multi-state GST implications, ITC claims, refunds, and e-commerce tax complexities.</div><div>
d. Represent company in tax audits/assessments and respond to notices.</div><div>
e. Ensure zero penalties/interest by maintaining compliance rigor.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Process &amp; Systems</b></div><div></div><div><br>
a. Drive automation of reconciliations and vendor processes.</div><div>
b. Contribute to ERP/Tally/Zoho migration and finance workflow digitization.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications</b></div><div></div><div><br>
a. Education: B. Com / M. Com with CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (preferred).</div><div>
b. Experience: 3&ndash;4 years in accounting + taxation, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or fast-paced startups.</div><div>
c. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Indian GAAP and experience handling statutory audits.</div><div>
d. Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.</div><div>
e. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently.</div><div>
f. Startup mindset &ndash; adaptable, hands-on, and execution-driven.</div></div><div></div>
