Position Overview</b></h3><p>
The People Operations Manager is the company&rsquo;s primary HR leader, responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle across multiple branch locations. This role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution to support talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and workforce planning.</p><p>
This position partners closely with leadership to align people strategy with business goals while fostering a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workplace.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Talent Acquisition &amp; Workforce Planning</b></h4><ul><li>
Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple locations<br>

Partner with managers on hiring strategy and workforce planning<br>
</li><li>
Develop sourcing pipelines and strengthen employer branding<br>
</li><li>
Design and improve onboarding programs<br>

Employee Relations &amp; Leadership Support</b></h4><ul><li>
Serve as trusted advisor to managers on employee matters<br>
</li><li>
Conduct workplace investigations and resolve complex issues<br>
</li><li>
Guide performance management and corrective action processes<br>

Compliance &amp; Risk Management</b></h4><ul><li>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws<br>
</li><li>
Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and procedures<br>
</li><li>
Manage leave administration, accommodations, and return-to-work processes<br>
</li><li>
Oversee HR audits and reporting requirements<br>

Administer health, dental, vision, retirement, and related benefits<br>

Partner with brokers on renewals and plan improvements<br>

Support compensation benchmarking and planning initiatives<br>

HR Systems &amp; Operations</b></h4><ul><li>
Manage HRIS (Paylocity) data integrity and reporting<br>
</li><li>
Maintain employee records and documentation standards<br>
</li><li>
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency<br>

Culture &amp; Engagement</b></h4><ul><li>
Lead employee engagement initiatives and training programs<br>
</li><li>
Support leadership development efforts<br>
</li><li>
Champion diversity, inclusion, and workplace culture initiatives</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in HR, Business, or related field<br>
</li><li>
5+ years of progressive HR experience<br>
</li><li>
Experience supporting multiple locations preferred<br>
</li><li>
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
<br>
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Knowledge &amp; Skills</b></h3><ul><li>
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices<br>
</li><li>
Experience managing full employee lifecycle processes<br>
</li><li>
Ability to coach leaders and handle sensitive employee matters<br>
</li><li>
Strong organizational and communication skills<br>
</li><li>
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office<br>
</li><li>

Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations in Iowa and South Dakota<br>
