The law firm of Fenton &amp; Keller is currently seeking administrative assistant candidates with experience in the areas of civil litigation, business transaction, real estate transaction, and/or estate planning.Qualified candidates are team players with superior level communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates shall be highly organized, detail-oriented, positive, proactive, and professional.<ul><li>Strong administrative assistant skills including being detail-oriented,</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Experience with document preparation and revision.</li><li>Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills including client communications.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple attorneys&rsquo; calendars and deadlines</li><li>Ability to work successfully as a team member or independently being flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment.</li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.</li><li>Ability to learn new skills, software programs, and procedures, and acquire new knowledge.</li><li>Experience with document filing systems (electronic and physical client files) and case calendaring preferred.</li><li>Experience with recording of documents, retrieval of recorded documents, Secretary of State filings, and/or court filings preferred.</li><li>Experience with discovery processes, deposition arrangements, preparation of pleadings and Judicial Council forms, and file maintenance preferred</li><li>Notary license preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Monterey, CA 93940 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Monterey, CA 93940: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
