Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and have experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and various dental procedures. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and executing treatment plans while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.</li><li>Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.</li><li>Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment options.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.</li><li>Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.</li><li>Collaborate with dental staff to provide exceptional patient experiences in a friendly environment.</li><li>Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.</li><li>Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care.</li><li>Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with treating children is essential.</li><li>Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and medical imaging techniques.</li><li>Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.</li><li>Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
