Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Operate heavy motorize material handling equipment in a safe manner</li><li>
Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment</li><li>
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material</li><li>
Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components</li><li>
Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System)</li><li>
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.</li><li>
Performing driving duties as a backup driver when required</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred</li><li>
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it</li><li>
General computer skills for basic data entry</li><li>
Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred</li><li>
Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures</li><li>
Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment</li></ul>

Location:
This role is open to remote work but within a reasonable driving distance of Newport News, VA for occasional in person meetings and trainings.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide consulting services to the management team and others in the law department on any potential or preventative commercial issues that may arise;</li><li>
Select, handle and coordinate company assistance with external counsel;</li><li>
Provide regular reporting on the status of litigation matters, including developing and reporting on key benchmarks and financial metrics;</li><li>
Review of legal documents, pleadings, correspondence to court and case parties. This will include the determination of when such filings are necessary and direction of local counsel to maintain overall case strategy;</li><li>
Attend key events in the course of litigation, including material depositions, mediation, settlement conferences and trials;</li><li>
Conduct internal investigations and prepare responses to third parties;</li><li>
Increase the effectiveness of the delivery of legal services through preventative action, including proactive involvement, early identification, and resolution of potential issues and disputes; and</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Law degree from a law school fully accredited by the American Bar Association and member of a state bar in good standing;</li><li>

Responsible, significant, relevant and successful experience with a law firm or private corporation as legal counsel leading or overseeing cases involving commercial litigation and/or products liability with asbestos litigation experience preferred;</li><li>
