 Warehouse Manager
 
 in our Murfreesboro, TN branch.
 
 
 
 The Facility:

 100,000 sq. ft
 </li>
 <li>
 Currently, direct oversight of 8-10 direct associates
 </li>
 <li>
 The shift begins at 7:00 am. Ability to cover any shifts as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 WMS environment
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide strategic leadership for warehouses, ability to be a change agent and adopt change and development
 </li>
 <li>
 Build, communicate, and affect vision for growth and improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 This is an onsite position requiring direct engagement with associates on the production floor
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associates
 </li>
 <li>
 Increase and maintain high levels of associate engagement throughout the operation
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive high levels of quality in customer shipments, inventory integrity within the building
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all associates
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and oversee associates performing activities including unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order picking, packaging, shipping of outbound orders and cycle counting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure high levels of cleanliness are maintained in our sites and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 2-5 years&rsquo; experience in distribution management leading 8+ employees in a large distribution/warehouse environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have leadership experience in managing and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with people and build an environment that is positive and engaging for the associates
 </li>
 <li>
 Phenomenal interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience working in a WMS environment with RF technology is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong computer skills to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Material Handling Equipment Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
 
 
 </li>

 Pay Range:
 
 
 
 $4,124.70 - $9,075.00
 
 
 
 
 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles
 
 OR
 
 Hourly for all other roles.
 
 
 
 
 This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Begun in 2020, Ferguson Fire Design (FFD) is the first nationwide partnership of fire sprinkler system design and material supply and fabrication services. FFD strives to stay at the forefront of industry technology and development while maintaining a commitment to exceptional quality and timely delivery of design services. With a strong foundation built through both acquisition and hiring of great talent, we are excited about the position we currently hold in the market and the future impact we will have.
We are growing and seeking to immediately fill an opening for an Engineering Designer! As an Engineering Designer, you will be responsible for using computer-aided design (CAD) equipment to provide support to the senior design staff by preparing routine layouts of fire sprinkler systems, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams. You will be provided with thorough training resources to develop your fire sprinkler design skills and opportunities to advance in a fire sprinkler design career with Ferguson Fire Design.
This role is fully onsite in Warren, MA in order to provide extensive training and mentoring.
Schedule: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm OR 8:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist in the development of fire system designs, including sprinkler layout, pipe routing, and hanger placement.</li><li>
Support the production of documents, files, and services for fire system designs.</li><li>
Support the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.</li><li>
Organize and maintain building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.</li><li>
Maintain the design criteria (hazard) required for compliance and safety.</li><li>
Reference the hydraulic analysis and technical calculations to ensure design accuracy.</li><li>
Learn and apply best practices for optimizing fabrication data.</li><li>
Adopt and utilize cutting edge software platforms and tools for design efficiency.</li><li>
Participate in design production tracking and reporting as directed by management</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, drafting, or related field preferred, but not required.</li><li>
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CAD or similar platforms) preferred.</li><li>
Strong organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>
No previous fire sprinkler design experience required</li><li>
Aptitude to learn how to read construction documents (i.e., construction plans, specifications, etc.).</li><li>
Mechanical proficiency with ability to complete mathematical calculations.</li><li>
Ability to balance multiple problems.</li><li>
Ability to learn and process technical information.</li><li>
Possess professional verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Very detail oriented.</li><li>
Strong computer proficiency</li></ul>
