<div><ul><li>Leads resident scheduled activities in cooperation with appropriate resident support</li><li>
groups and community departments.</li><li>
Assists with implementing appropriate activities as they relate to the physical,</li><li>
emotional and social needs of the individual residents.</li><li>
Assist with scheduled resident activities and programs, which are sponsored by</li><li>
community groups.</li><li>
Assists with community volunteers.</li><li>
Works closely with other departments to maximize level of functioning for</li><li>
community residents.</li><li>
Assists in maintaining appropriate records of resident socialization.</li><li>
Assist with preparing and distributes a monthly activity schedule.</li><li>
Follows monthly calendar for scheduled activities.</li><li>
Ensures activity areas are well maintained.</li><li>
Assists with assessments, orientation, and marketing duties as requested.</li><li>
Keep leader informed of department needs.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned by any member of management.</li></ul>
Job Qualifications: 
1. Ability to demonstrate effective resident supervision. 
2. Ability to utilize and apply basic time management principles. 
3. Ability to recognize and communicate problems within department, team member and 
residents. 
4. Ability to relate to the public, residents, families, team members and other professionals 
appropriately. 
5. Ability to communicate well, verbally and written. 
6. Ability to maintain accurate records. 
7. Ability to adhere to and communicate community policy and procedure. 
8. Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements of the job. 
9. Looks for ways to improve skills of self and team members. 
10. Ability to perform assigned tasks in neat, thorough and timely manner. 
11. Maintain current Driver&rsquo;s License.
Other Requirements: 
Ability to work with the elderly population. Knowledge of regulations affecting resident 
activities. Ability to work with wide range of persons and needs. Marketing skills.
Universal Precautions: 
Exposure to blood/body fluids is not likely.
Physical Requirements: 
Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds. Frequent transporting of residents in wheelchair.</div>
