We areseeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonary Specialist to join our team.Job Description:As a Pulmonary Specialist for Post Acute Care settings (Long Term care facilities, Skilled Nursing Homes), you will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. Your role will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:&#9679; Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders, includingchronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer.&#9679; Clinical Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.&#9679; Patient Management: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoingmanagement of chronic conditions. Educate patients and their families about respiratory health andtreatment options.&#9679; Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians and pulmonary technicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.&#9679; Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with the clinic policies andregulatory requirements.&#9679; Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patientcare.Qualifications:&#9679; Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.&#9679; Training: Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in PulmonaryMedicine.&#9679; Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine.&#9679; Licensure: Active medical license in Ohio.&#9679; Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex pulmonary cases (ventilator).&#9679; Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, proficiency in performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests andbronchoscopy, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.Preferred Qualifications:&#9679; Subspecialty certification in areas such as sleep medicine or critical care.&#9679; Experience with advanced pulmonary interventions and therapies.Benefits:&#9679; Compensation to be discussed in the interview.&#9679; Continuing medical education (CME) allowances and opportunities for professional development.License/Certification:&#9679; BC/BE (Preferred)&#9679; Medical License (Preferred)Willingness to travel:&#9679; 25% (Preferred)Job Type: Part-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Columbus, OH 43268 (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timeWork Location: In person
