<div>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Answering a multi-line phone system</li>
<li>Collecting on past payments</li>
<li>Posting payments</li>
<li>Creating fee sheets and meeting with patients for review</li>
<li>Confirming appointments and verifying insurance</li>
<li>Obtaining prior authorizations with covered and participating health plans</li>
<li>Working on claim denials</li>
<li>Weekend, and as needed front-desk coverage</li>
</ul>
Skills and Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Fantastic interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills</li>
<li>Familiar with basic billing functions, insurances, EOB&rsquo;s, and administrative level tasks</li>
<li>Certification in billing and coding is a PLUS, but not required</li>
<li>At least one year&rsquo;s experience in medical billing/authorizations is a PLUS</li>
<li>Pleasant, but confident demeanor in all patient relations is required</li>
<li>Full-Time position, Monday &ndash; Friday, rotating Saturday hours</li>
