Position: Resident Engineer Career Level: Intermediate Shift Type: Rotational Location: KarachiKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Respond to customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot internet connectivity issues on-site.</li><li>Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and modems.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on customer premises equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with the support team to provide comprehensive solutions to customer problems.</li><li>Document and report on service calls, issues, and resolutions.</li><li>Educate customers on the proper use of their internet services and equipment.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Resident Engineer, Network Technician, or similar role.</li><li>Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.</li><li>Proficiency with network diagnostic tools and equipment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.</li><li>Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

Resident Engineer

Position: NOC Engineer Shift Type: Rotational (Morning/Evening/Night) Location: KarachiResponsibilities:<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain networking systems to support company operations.</li><li>Conduct regular assessments of network security and recommend enhancements as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure the efficient operation of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.</li><li>Implement network policies and procedures to optimize performance and security.</li><li>Monitor network performance and recommend adjustments to meet changing business needs.</li><li>Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving connectivity issues.</li><li>Collaborate in the planning and execution of network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.</li></ul>Requirement:<ul><li>Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, PPPoE, QinQ , IPSec)</li><li>Good Knowledge &amp; hands-on experience of Static &amp; dynamic Routing Protocols.</li><li>CCNA Certification will be a plus.</li><li>Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.</li><li>Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., Cacti, Librenms, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) and network management systems.</li><li>Should be able to work in a team and perform under pressure.</li><li>Multi-tasking.</li><li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
