Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of all-aged children.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.</li><li>Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques.</li><li>Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies.</li><li>Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and informal assessments.</li><li>Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.</li><li>Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe learning environment.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.</li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience working with all-aged children in a daycare or private school setting.</li><li>Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.</li><li>Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and literacy education strategies.</li><li>Experience in teaching physical education or tutoring is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff members.</li><li>Prior experience in special education or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable.
