Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Become a product expert by learning all the different features of FileCloud &ndash; installation, configuration of features, and testing the product on multiple desktop applications</li>
<li>Respond to all Level 1 &amp; Level 2 support tickets within SLA</li>
<li>Create internal tickets with product engineering</li>
<li>Fill in required forms and administer &amp; complete tickets after dealing with customers</li>
<li>Follow up with customers and keep them updated regarding any tickets under investigation</li>
<li>Create knowledge base content derived from resolved issues</li>
<li>Support weekend shift rotation (at least 1 weekend shift per month)</li>

<div>FileCloud is looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Software Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will work on the core sync and OS integration layer of FileCloud Desktop. Your primary focus will be system-level development on Windows using modern C++ (C++17 and higher) and a strong understanding of Windows internals, filesystems, and OS integration. You will design and implement core sync and filesystem logic, integrate with Explorer, and collaborate closely with QA and UI teams. This role is fully office-based and will require working in our KSA office with other members of the remote FileCloud team.

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Design, implement, and maintain system-level components for FileCloud Desktop on Windows in modern C++ (C++17 and higher).
</li><li>Work with Win32/WinRT, the Windows Cloud Files API (CFAPI), and our custom driver to handle filesystem events, placeholders, hydration/dehydration, and user actions.
</li><li>Implement and maintain gRPC services and clients (and JSON/REST-style APIs where applicable) that connect system components to higher-level layers (Electron/TypeScript UI, server-side services).
</li><li>If you have macOS experience, contribute to macOS system components in Swift using Apple File Provider and Endpoint Security/ESClient.

Job Duties:

Financial Management &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Act as the senior finance lead for Saudi Arabia, with full responsibility for country-level financial management, controls, and compliance.</li>
<li>Maintain oversight of accounting books of original entries, general ledger, and financial records in coordination with local accounting and tax advisors.</li>
<li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with corporate deadlines, including: trial balance review, income statement and balance sheet reconciliations &amp; variance analysis and management commentary.</li>
<li>Partner with Corporate Consolidation &amp; Reporting teams to respond to audit, reporting, and analysis requests.</li>
<li>Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning for the Saudi entity.</li>
<li>Monitor financial performance versus budget and provide insights and recommendations to financial leadership.</li>
<li>Ensure robust internal controls, approval matrices, and financial governance aligned with global policies.</li>

Tax, Statutory &amp; Regulatory Compliance

<li>Coordinate with local accounting firms and advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory accounts, ZATCA tax filings, VAT, WHT, and other local regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulators in Saudi Arabia.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards, labor regulations (as applicable to payroll and benefits), and corporate governance requirements.</li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s degree or professional qualification preferred).</li>
<li>Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including responsibility for statutory reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.</li>
<li>Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent).</li>
<li>Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.</li>
<li>Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, including knowledge of ZATCA, VAT, and WHT regimes.</li>
<li>Experience working with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.</li>
<li>High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks preferred.</li>
