<p>We are seeking a strategic, finance-savvy <b>Loan Officer</b> with experience in venture capital, private equity, or structured lending to support our deal team in underwriting, due diligence, loan servicing, and ongoing portfolio management. <h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Loan Origination &amp; Structuring:</b></h4>
Evaluate VC- and PE-backed companies for creditworthiness by analyzing financial statements, cap tables, investor profiles, and market dynamics<br>

Structure and originate loan products such as venture debt, acquisition financing, growth capital, and working capital lines<br>

Collaborate with internal teams (investment, legal, operations) to finalize term sheets, credit approvals, and legal documentation</li></ul><br>

Lead and coordinate financial, legal, operational, and management due diligence on prospective borrowers<br>

Review corporate governance documents, capitalization structures, intellectual property status, and key contracts<br>

<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Loan Servicing &amp; Portfolio Management:</b></h4>
Oversee onboarding and disbursement processes for newly originated loans<br>

Monitor loan performance, borrower compliance with covenants, financial reporting obligations, and key risk indicators<br>

Manage periodic portfolio reviews, risk grading, and exposure analysis<br>

</li>
Coordinate amendments, waivers, renewals, or restructurings as needed<br>

</li>
Serve as primary point of contact for borrowers post-close, ensuring a high-quality client experience and proactive issue resolution<br>

<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Relationship Management &amp; Market Engagement:</b></h4>
<ul><li>Build and maintain relationships with startup founders, CFOs, VC/PE partners, and advisory networks to drive deal flow</li><li>
Track market trends, sector developments, and capital market dynamics relevant to growth-stage lending</li></ul>

7+ years of experience in venture debt, private credit, structured finance, commercial banking, or related financial services<br>

Strong credit analysis, financial modeling, and deal structuring skills<br>

Prior experience with due diligence and ongoing loan servicing of investor-backed companies is required<br>

<p>FinStrat Management (&ldquo;FSM&rdquo;) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a client-facing Fund Accountant to manage fund operations for the Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds within the company's Fund Administration division.</p>
<h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b><br>
</h1>
<ul><li>Help ensure client service delivery for fund accounting and administration operations</li><li>
Account analysis and reconciliation</li><li>
Help provide leverage to our clients by understanding and prioritizing their needs while effectively scaling our services.</li><li>
Prepare capital calls, distribution calculations, and investor capital account</li><li>
Participate in the annual preparation of year-end workpapers and tax schedules</li><li>
Prepare financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP for internal funds</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of tax estimates and tax returns for the funds</li><li>
Ad hoc analysis and reporting</li><li>
Ensure assignments meet the firms' quality standards</li><li>
Identify and communicate engagement matters to clients, managers and partners</li><li>

<h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Requirements</b></h1>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Professional Knowledge</b></h3>
<ul><li>3+ years of professional fund accounting experience, preferably in venture capital, private equity, public accounting, asset management, or hedge funds</li><li>
1+ years of professional experience using QuickBooks Online</li><li>
Experience interpreting and understanding Limited Partnership Agreements, Private Placement Memorandum</li><li>
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel<br>

Strong analytical skills</li></ul>
