SUMMARY OF THE ROLE</b></h5></div><p>
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Webmaster Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating client websites, ensuring content is current, accessible, and engaging. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement website enhancements and resolve technical issues. This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to refine your webmaster skills through hands-on experience within a collaborative team.</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US</p><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h5><ul><li><p>
Learn to use the Finalsite Content Management System (CMS).</p></li><li><p>
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.</p></li><li><p>
Complete website updates accurately and in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>
Modify and optimize existing website content for clarity, accessibility, and design consistency.</p></li><li><p>
Migrate website content, including text, files, and images, ensuring seamless integration.</p></li><li><p>
Identify and resolve website issues to maintain optimal functionality.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor and respond to client emails daily, providing timely and effective communication.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborate with clients through both virtual meetings and written communication to understand and fulfill their website needs.</p></li><li><p>
Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for website improvements and enhancements.</p></li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</b></h5><ul><li><p>
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design/Development, or related field.</p></li><li><p>
Basic understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices.</p></li><li><p>
Familiarity with content management systems or similar website platforms.</p></li><li><p>
Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO best practices.</p></li><li><p>
Willing to provide outstanding support services to clients in keeping their websites current, informative, and professional.</p></li><li><p>
Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.</p></li><li><p>
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.</p></li><li><p>
Portfolio or examples of previous web projects (academic or personal) preferred.</p></li><li><p>
Experience working with educational institutions or in a similar role is a plus.</p></li></ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT</b></h5><p>
