Job Description</b></p><div>
FITS Consulting is looking for Business Analysts with brokerage/investment industry experience to assist our clients with back-office and middle-office systems implementations.</div><div></div><div><br>
We are looking for candidates with solid brokerage/wealth management background and prior experience in a business analyst role on a major platform implementation project.</div><p><br>
</p><p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Brokerage settlement platform conversion/implementation.</li><li>
Perform gap analysis to determine current/future state and process flows.</li><li>
Define and document business requirements (BRD).</li><li>
Write effective user stories that are development ready.</li><li>
Establish and maintain communication with client business and technical groups regarding progress of conversion/implementation.</li><li>
Work with Project Office groups monitoring and reporting milestone and planned activities.</li><li>
Participate Mock and Parallel conversion testing activities.</li><li>
Ensure the testing and training process are running smoothly.</li></ul><p>
 <b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
5+ years of brokerage/wealth management industry business analyst experience</li><li>
7+ years' experience within the Capital Markets/Wealth Management industry related to trade settlement and reporting for various financial products such as equities and fixed income.</li><li>
Prior experience on large scale wealth management system implementations.</li><li>
Successful track record for completing projects tasks under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Extensive client facing and problem-solving experience.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills and strong documentation and presentation experience.</li><li>
Traditional Business Analyst experience including (documenting current and future state, cross functional flows, developing/modifying business requirement documents, user acceptance testing).</li><li>
Experience implementing/converting brokerage operation systems including onboarding accounts and processing to the new platform.</li><li>
Working knowledge of all areas of brokerage back-office processing a major plus</li><li>
Proficient in all Microsoft applications, especially Excel and SQL.</li><li>
Experience in Agile teams.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
